Manages large, technical information security projects, programs, and processes aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Conducts advanced threat analysis, vulnerability testing, and incident response to protect technology assets and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Works to achieve operational targets with major impact on the information security department or job area results and contributes to the development of goals for area of responsibility.
2. Manages large information security and privacy projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements.
3. Conducts and deploys advanced threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
4. Monitors system access and integrates forensic tools for attack detection, investigation, and reconstruction.
5. Leads incident response efforts to effectively manage and resolve security incidents.
6. Guides identity and access management, data protection, and security best practices across the enterprise.
7. Collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
8. Integrates advanced security technologies and tools to strengthen the organization's security posture.
9. Reviews and updates security policies, standards, and procedures to address emerging threats and compliance needs.
10. Provides technical guidance, training, and direction to information security teams and lower-level technical professionals.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in information security.
3. Advanced knowledge of data security, privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and advanced security technologies.
4. Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response, and forensic methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
2. Experience in the financial services industry.
3. Advanced professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
4. Technical expertise with enterprise security architectures, risk management frameworks, and cutting-edge security technologies.
5. Proven experience managing large technical projects.
6. Experience with systems for automated threat intelligence sharing and using industry standard protocols.

7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
