Job DetailsJob Location: Charlotte, NC 28217Job description Basic Function Responsible for the cleanliness of the building including grounds and fixtures. Responsibilities 1. Monitor building and grounds to ensure a neat and clean presentation and environment. 2. Perform various cleaning activities to include sweeping and mopping tile surfaces, floor space, and vacuum carpeted areas. 3. Follow all written and verbal instructions. 4. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored in appropriate areas. Maintain lobby entrances, clean glass, vacuum, sweep floors 5. Clean rest rooms to include disinfecting toilets, sinks and floors, and restocking rest room supplies as needed. 6. Remove trash and dispose of in designated areas. 7. Monitor condition of equipment and report deficiencies: - vacuum cleaners - trash cans - mop buckets - cleaning supplies 8. Ensure security of building during and after completed jobs and report any security violations to management. 9. Report the need for any major repairs to management. 10. Report emergency maintenance problems and/or environmental hazards immediately. 11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures. 12. Perform other related duties as assigned. 13. Dusting outside of building around doors and corners (ex. spider webs). 14. Clean around outside dumpster area QualificationsSkills Oral Communication Skills Written Communication Skills Reading Skills Time Management Lifting up to 50 pounds Physical Dexterity Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to reach, bend, stoop and kneel Education/Training Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent Job Type: Full-time and Part Time available Salary: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Experience: janitorial/custodial: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
