How you'll make an impact
As a key member of our team, you'll partner with industry experts, underwriters, and service professionals to create innovative solutions for clients across a variety of industries. You'll stay ahead of market trends, represent RPS in the marketplace, and leverage your network to drive growth and establish yourself as a trusted resource in the industry.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand your portfolio and drive revenue growth.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and centers of influence.
- Analyze complex risks and design tailored insurance and risk management solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.
- Collaborate with underwriters, account managers, and internal specialists to deliver exceptional client experiences and winning outcomes.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance.
- Represent RPS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive coverage solutions and deliver value for clients

About You
- Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of insurance, sales, or business development experience; or participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP); or a High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of related experience.
- Commercial casualty insurance experience is required.
- Proven ability to build relationships, generate new business, and deliver client-focused solutions.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, risk management principles, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Active Property & Casualty license, or the ability to obtain and maintain required licensing.
- Preferred: Wholesale brokerage experience and/or professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, or CEBS.
