Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard costs in accordance with established costing processes.
  
• Analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV), labour, usage and overhead variances.
  
• Support inventory valuation, reconciliation and related accounting activities.
  
• Prepare costing-related journal entries and financial reports.
  
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams on cost analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting and month-end financial close activities.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting enhancements.
  
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost accounting data and financial information.
  
• Support internal controls and accounting policies related to costing and inventory.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global finance stakeholders as required.
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Qualified CMA.
  
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing.
  
• Strong experience in Standard Costing, Inventory Accounting and Variance Analysis.
  
• Hands-on SAP experience is mandatory.
  
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  
• Experience in manufacturing finance and cost accounting processes.
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with MNCs.
  
• Exposure to GBS, GCC or Shared Services environments.
  
• Experience working with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders.
  
• Exposure to cost optimization, budgeting and forecasting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing, with excellent analytical andreporting capabilities. Candidates with SAP experience and exposure toMNC/GBS/GCC environments will be preferred.
