Technical Leadership
- Lead a team of software engineers and provide technical direction, guidance, and mentoring.
- Own technical design and architecture decisions for applications and services.
- Conduct design and code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Define coding standards, development practices, and technical guidelines.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in estimation, planning, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions.
Software Development
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications using Python.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Design modular, reusable, and testable software components.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform performance optimization, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Database & Data Technologies
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis is desirable.
- Design efficient database schemas, queries, indexes, and data-access layers.
- Understand caching, transaction management, and database performance optimization.
