  2. Participates collaboratively in the Quality Department’s scope of services, contributing expertise and support to quality improvement initiatives such as patient care outcomes, medical staff peer review, Clinical Effectiveness initiatives, process improvement activities, and survey readiness.

     

  3. Shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by:

    (a) promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking

    (b) engaging, directing, and supporting people to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system requirements

    (c) promoting improvement

  4. Initiates and supports improvement initiatives informed by thorough analysis of performance, clinical, and outcome data.

  5. Works with stakeholders/team to develop action plans to improve performance and loop closure.

     

  6. Collaborates with members of health care team to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines, regulatory agencies, and organizational standards.

     

  7. Assists with implementation and education plan of Quality/Performance Improvement initiatives to include education of nurses, staff and physicians, policy changes and equipment need. 

     

  8. Assist in risk management activities when applicable: observations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans. 

 

  1. Leads and participates in data sharing, planning, and implementation with multidisciplinary committees.

     

 

Qualifications/Training:

  • Three years of clinical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must be proficient in using the computer to include Microsoft Office Word & EXCEL.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • Must possess a valid SC license- RN.
  • BSN
