As a Key Turner, you are the face of our morning operations. You are responsible for ensuring the store is ready for the day, creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both the team and our first customers. This is an essential role for early risers who take pride in setting the foundation for a successful business day.
Job Description
The Key Turner is responsible for the initial opening of the store. You will perform daily opening procedures, set up the kitchen area, and ensure the facility is prepped and ready for business before the management team takes over.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
● Store Opening: Perform all daily opening checklists to ensure the store is "ready to serve."
● Setup: Prepare the kitchen area, stock stations, and ensure equipment is ready for the day's operations.
● Support: Assist with initial prep work and ensure the store environment is welcoming and clean.
● Communication: Must ensure all store calls are answered promptly.
Compensation & Schedule
● Pay: $14.00 per hour.
● Schedule: This is a part-time 3–4 hour morning shift (typically 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM), working until the Assistant Manager (AM) arrives.
Qualifications
Successful applicants must possess the following:
● Must be at least 18 years of age.
● Must have valid U.S. employment authorization.
● Friendly demeanor.
● Works well with others.
● Works well under the stress of a high-paced environment.
● Organized and efficient in time management.
● Ability to multitask.
● Able to respond to customer concerns.
● Must be able to follow all Team Sharma Two Sisters Pizza Policies.
● Must be able to work together as a team.
● Must understand that all store calls must be answered after the first ring.
● During downtime, you are required to sweep, mop, clean up, do dishes, and find cleaning activities to help the store.
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical activity, including but not limited to the following:
● Standing and Walking: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
● Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
● Bending and Reaching: Forward bending is necessary for station setup; reaching is performed continuously (up, down, and forward) to prepare the store.
● Other Activities: Crouching or squatting to stock shelves and clean low areas.
● Equipment Used: Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
