Table Games Dealer (Harrah's Philadelphia)

Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.  Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and card membership.  Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

Responsibilities

Conducts assigned game according to procedure.  Exchanges cash for gaming chips according to procedure.  Cooperates with other Dealers when assigned to the same game (Craps).  When dealing craps, the Dealer may function as Stickperson as required under 465a.35.  Controls pace of the game.  Informs the Supervisor Casino Games of any request or unusual play.  Issues to customers the proper amount of gaming chips after completion of the credit authorization procedures. 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) required.  Must possess a certificate of completion from an accredited PA Dealers School or equivalent. Skills required for game.  Either prior dealing experience or that experience acquired in Dealers School .

A consistently upbeat and positive attitude is required for the successful candidate.  This behavior must be demonstrated throughout the hiring process and carry over to all guest interactions.
Must be able to communicate with coworkers, supervisors and guests. 
Must have flexible schedule and be able to work any day/any hours. 
Must be able to get along well with others and work as a team. 
Must be able to maneuver in and around casino and public areas. 

Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.  Bending mobility required.  Must be able to speak fluently and understand English.
