Description

Supervisor: Lift Operations Supervisor  

Department: Lift Operations 

Type: October- End of Season / Seasonal

Position Overview: Scan/validate lift tickets and report any discrepancies to Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Scan tickets and validate all lift riders have current day / season tickets before lift is loaded.
  • Escort invalid ticket holders to Ticket Office for resolution of issues.
  • Provide an engaging customer experience through friendly and efficient service.
  • Assist lift operators to work around or near moving lift carriers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work together with all departments to build a positive working environment.
  • Show up to work on time, consistent attendance, and be dependable.
  • Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic ability to ski or snowboard. 
  • Knowledge of Resort products.
  • Excellent customer services skills in person. 
  • Ability to work a schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and multitask.
  • Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
  • Reliable transportation.
