About the Role:Â Â
The Associate Financial Advisor provides specialized services to an individual Financial Advisorto assist in their ability to offer sophisticated wealth management solutions to individuals and families and strategically build the client base. Specialized areas of emphasis include financial planning, portfolio management and analysis and/or investment analysis.Â
The Impact You’ll Make:Â
Operate within the team’s client service and wealth management strategy to ensure high quality client serviceÂ
Engage the client/prospect, frame the discussion, and convey the team mission to better position the Advisor for additional business opportunitiesÂ
Review, research and analyze data to create customized, annual financial plans for clientsÂ
Deliver the financial plan to clients in partnership with the Financial Advisor/TeamÂ
Connect with next generation clients through planningÂ
Provide or lead financial education, such as long-term planning, social security/Medicare, tax return reviews utilizing our team of expertsÂ
Take the planning results and identify the best investment solutions to implement the plan in partnership with the Financial Advisor/Team. Assist with marketing efforts, such as a newsletter or LinkedIn presence, to solicit additional planning business with the existing client base and to establish the team as a planning team in front of prospectsÂ
Research relevant news articles related to the topic’s covered in a client’s plan to share with them as an added touch pointÂ
Document, follow up, and support the closing of opportunities identified from the financial planning processÂ
Serve as a Team specialist for queries on financial planning topics and consult with the Financial Advisors/Team on specific client scenariosÂ
Monitor and track client revenues related to financial planning work to ensure sales opportunities are maximizedÂ
Performs other duties and special projects as necessaryÂ
What You’ll Bring to Baird:Â
Bachelor'sdegree requiredÂ
Must have or be capable of and committed to pursuing and achieving specialized professional designations (i.e., CFP, CPWA, JD) or higher-level education equivalent within one year of assuming the Associate Financial Advisor roleÂ
Must hold SIE, Series 7/66 or Series 7/63/65 licensesÂ
Minimum of three years of investment experience in a client facing roleÂ
Excellent presentation skills, very strong interpersonal and written communication skillsÂ
Proven self-starter, highly motivated, with the ability to work independentlyÂ
Compensation and Benefits:Â
$68,600 -$92,900 annual salary range
Compensation iscommensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitabilityÂ
