It’s a hands-on role where you’ll learn how corporate transaction matters are run, contribute directly to client deliverables, and develop skills that translate across legal, operations, and business development.

  • Business development: Build and format pitch materials (PowerPoint, video, Canva); coordinate client events, webinars, speaking engagements, and CLE workshops; track activities and client engagement in CRM systems.
  • Research and reporting: Conduct industry and company research to support prospecting; compile data for RFPs; generate automated reports to track business development momentum.
  • Communications and marketing: Update lawyer biographies; draft and coordinate firm‑approved social media content; document attorney experience for proposals and Foundation updates.
  • Process automation and data management: Create document and correspondence templates; implement data entry automation; support CRM integration with document management systems.
  • Proactively adopt and operationalize legal AI applications to streamline research, contract review, e-discovery, and analytics, documenting workflows and quality controls to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Record time entries accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain positive, professional communication with clients, lawyers, and business professionals while safeguarding confidentiality.
  • Be present onsite during regular working hours and as required; work additional hours when needed to meet client or firm deadlines.

What you’ll bring

  • Core skills: Proficiency with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and basic AI applications; strong document and information management habits; clear written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset; organization and attention to detail; ability to juggle multiple deadlines and work calmly under pressure, including independent work.
  • Preferred exposure: Experience in a professional office environment

Education and experience

  • Client-facing impact: Help produce materials and processes that clients rely on, from pitches to closing sets.
  • Versatile toolkit: Build skills across research, project management, data, automation, and communications.
  • Pathway potential: A foundation for roles in legal operations, corporate paralegal work, business development, or marketing within a law firm environment.
