At Downtown Dental, River North, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who visits us. We are excited to announce that we are looking to add another fantastic Dental Assistant  to our team and help us maintain the high standards of care and service our patients have come to expect.

Job Qualifications:

  • Working Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in dental assisting preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.
  • Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
  • Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.

Position Schedule:

  • Tuesday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
