About the RoleÂ
- Field-based engineering position supporting customers across the USA and North America.
- Hands-on responsibility for system installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and performance optimization.Â
- Key technical liaison between customers and internal development and support teams.Â
- Opportunity to contribute across additional regions supported by SCIENION when needed.Â
What You Will DoÂ
- Install and set up SCIENION and CELLENION systems at customer sites.Â
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and complete on-site or remote repairs.Â
- Deliver customer training, provide technical support, and represent SCIENION at conferences.Â
- Prepare technical quotations, service reports, and ISO-compliant documentation.Â
What We Are Looking ForÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a comparable technical qualification.Â
- At least 3 years of experience in field service, technical support, or a related in-house service role.Â
- Strong problem-solving ability, hands-on engineering skills, and a proactive mindset.Â
- Excellent communication skills, customer-facing confidence, and willingness to travel up to 60%.Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience supporting electromechanical, electronic, biomedical, or automation-based systems.Â
- Background in a customer-facing technical role within life sciences or a related industry.Â
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car for regional travel.Â
Role DetailsÂ
- Permanent, full-time position.Â
- Remote home-office setup with a field-based working model.Â
- Travel across North America and occasionally globally.Â
- Reporting line into the Global Service and Support organization.Â
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $86,000-$108,000. Benefits include 401K with company match, PTO, Health Benefits, Investment in Professional and Personal Development, and much more.
