The OpportunityĀ 

We'reĀ looking for an eCommerce Media Manager to join our team as part of our Client Services function. Media ManagersĀ are able toĀ handle client relationships and serve as the "face" of Flywheel in a lead role. They can handle complex clients and issues and bring proactive strategies to the table to help grow sales. Flywheel's best Media managersĀ are able toĀ effectively communicate at senior levels and have a provenĀ track recordĀ of solving complex Amazon challenges. TheyĀ demonstrateĀ skill at driving business growth and influencing strategic change.Ā

The Media Manager will be creating,Ā monitoring, and tracking online marketing campaigns on Amazon as well as new emerging platforms. This includes Search and Display campaigns across our network of platforms.Ā Ā

You will successfully be able to manage large, complex clients independently and lead day to day client engagement around e-commerce media performance and strategy. You will drive the client calls and monitor campaign activity against approved budgets.Ā Ā

The Media Manager will act as a partner for our clients and consult with them around investment levels, product assortment and media backing while highlighting opportunity onsite for the client and helping to rectify any potential issues that may arise.Ā Ā

TheĀ ultimate goalĀ for this role is to provide best in class service while helping to grow our clients’ business and promote the value and philosophies Flywheel brings. As a more senior member of the media team, you will also be tasked with working with our Media Specialists and helping develop them as they progress in their careers.Ā Ā 

Ā 

What You Will Do:Ā 

  • Lead daily client engagements and drive strategy discussionsĀ 

  • Help Client to plan and develop a budget and then deliver campaigns according to KPIs agreed to with the clientĀ 

  • Provide guidance on product optimizations to ensure campaigns are set up for successĀ 

  • Managing keywordĀ selectionĀ andĀ optimumĀ bid levels across available advertising optionsĀ 

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, analytics, and performance insights for digital marketing campaignsĀ 

  • Establish key metric reports, track progress and trends, and effectively communicate campaign results and insightsĀ 

  • Create, test, measure and analyse customer shopping andĀ purchasingĀ behaviour for improved outcomesĀ 

  • Managing promotional planning calendar for client campaignsĀ 

  • Drive the strategy discussions with the ClientsĀ 

  • Lead the bi-weekly client callsĀ 

  • Develop Specialists in their pursuit to move into a ā€œMedia Managerā€ roleĀ 

  • Check budget pacing dailyĀ 

  • Review search and display campaign activity daily but provide analysis on a weekly and monthly basisĀ 

  • If Media and Retail engagement (Full Service), connect weekly with internal Retail teamĀ 

  • Educate Clients onĀ Best in ClassĀ strategyĀ 

  • Having a pulse and opinion on industry news, translatingĀ marcoĀ trends into tailored recommendations and actions for clientsĀ 

  • Work with teams toĀ identifyĀ new opportunities for clients under managementĀ 

  • Work with teams to quicklyĀ identifyĀ and resolve any client issuesĀ 

  • IdentifyĀ and provide reminders of value Flywheel drives for our clientsĀ 

  • Travel required, based on client needsĀ

Who You Are:Ā 

  • 4 years of account management experienceĀ 

  • Digital marketing, financial/quantitative analytics experienceĀ 

  • Strong analytical skills, with adequate knowledge of Microsoft Excel—pivot tables and ā€˜VLOOKUP’ 

  • Detail-oriented, good project management and organisational skills with the ability to work on tight deadlinesĀ 

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and advertising, with a focus on Amazon's advertising platformsĀ 

  • Experience in developing, managing, and analysing online promotion campaignsĀ 

  • Possess strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skillsĀ 

  • Innovative, scrappy, and independent thinker with the ability to influence using dataĀ 

  • Ability to thrive in dynamic and demanding situations with minimum supervisionĀ
