Responsibilities

If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant at Marshall Field Garden in Chicago, IL supporting our Community Center!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide timely and professional responses to phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
  • Support site and office operations as assigned by the manager.
  • Support resident outreach efforts by making reminder calls and assisting with communications regarding events, programs, and community resources.
  • Assist with the setup, registration/check-in, and breakdown of Community Center programs, workshops, meetings, and special events.
  • Maintain accurate program sign-in sheets, event registration lists, and other Community Center documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating Community Center room usage for programs, meetings, and events.
  • Maintain Community Center calendars, program materials, files, and general administrative records.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE:

  • $18.00-$20.00 per hour
  • This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

 

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.
