Job DetailsJob Location: Latin Upper School - Chicago, IL 60610Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $20.00 - $21.00 HourlyJob Category: SportsChicago Latin Swim Club is seeking a part-time swim club coach for one or more of our Developmental, Blue, Orange and/or Roman Groups. CLSC is an athlete-centric swim club tailored towards the unique development of the individual swimmer. We are, by design, a small club with conservative coach to athlete ratios. CLSC is looking for coaches who are committed to the development of young athletes and who have a strong desire for longevity in coaching swimming.  Hours include coaching practices Monday-Friday evenings, and swim meet support on select weekends throughout the season RESPONSIBILITIES Coach a group of age group swimmers Monday-Friday. Communicate with parents in regards to their swimmer’s progress. Attend weekend swim meets and oversee a specified age group and support the head coach. COMPENSATION Work hours allow for pool setup and cleanup. Hourly stipend based on experience, begins at $20 an hour. Qualifications Previous experience in competitive swimming USA Swimming certified (or willing to become certified) Lifeguard certified (or willing to become certified) High degree of initiative and integrity Self-motivated and ability to work as a member of a team Punctual, energetic and proactive with excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and organizational skills Education or teaching/coaching experience preferred Latin School embraces diversity of people, cultures, and ideas and is an equal opportunity employer.
