Essential Functions

A Ziegenfelder Operator is responsible for:聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures machines are running properly at the proper speed.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists Maintenance to ensure machines are in proper operational condition.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Draws mix for production as needed per QA/Supervisor/Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures quality standards of products are met.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures the proper number of supplies is present for the shift.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure safe and efficient operation of production lines, producing quality Ziegenfelder treats for delivery to customers.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead by example in a manner consistent with Ziegenfelder Values.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follows all GMP and SQF procedures and practices.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in training new operators per Supervisor/Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure work area is clean and organized and all rework is complete.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completes all production consumption of raw materials in Business Central accurately and ensures timely submission for compliance standards and customer satisfaction.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supporting all departments as needed to produce and package quality Ziegenfelder treats.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Verify RedZone to confirm completion and accuracy of raw material usage, metal detector audits, and product quality checks.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Undertaking proper corrective/preventative actions when there is a safety, quality, or defective product event.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure all relevant departmental communication is conducted promptly, accurately, and through appropriate channels.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or equivalent required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 1+ years of experience in a management or leadership role required, preferably in the food manufacturing environment.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 1-3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment highly preferred.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to motivate and lead in a fast-paced environment.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Mechanical or operational background, in addition to the above qualifications, is a plus.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be available to work all shift to include weekends and holidays.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.

Physical Abilities

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Standing up to 8 hours per day.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bending, twisting, reaching and grasping actions.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May need to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantly.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May need to climb, balance, stoop, crouch, reach, stand, push, and pull frequently during a shift.

Working Conditions

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Subject to cold temperatures of less than 32F for more than one hour with proper protection equipment.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protection equipment.
