Job DetailsJob Location: CBT Cincinnati - Cincinnati, OH 45213CBT Company is seeking an experienced Conveyor Service Technician to fabricate and install conveyor belting and conveyor components. Mechanical Maintenance background is required. Responsibilities:   Perform a variety of duties associated with the fabrication, modification, repair or installation of lightweight belts and components to customer specifications. Work will be performed in-house or at customer site. Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures (CBT’s as well as Customer specific procedures) Assist in maintaining and monitoring the accuracy of belting inventory Accurately perform assigned tasks in a timely fashion.  Interact with customers in a professional manner Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition Represent CBT in a professional manner at all times Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequirements:  Must have a stable work history, no more than two jobs within the past three years 3 years of Belting Installation / Fabrication experience. Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues on conveyor systems and related equipment. Take lead on jobs, mentor crew, and work in a manner that ensures the safety of all crew members. Basic hand tool familiarity required, including knowledge, use, and understanding of a tape measure and units of measurement.  Thorough understanding of OSHA workplace saftey and PPE requirements. Must be detail oriented and able to write clear and concise reports for customers  Must be dependable and able to work flexible shift schedule (on call when necessary) High School diploma or equivalent.  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Overtime hours and weekend work is required Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Critical Skills: Prior experience operating forklifts and Aerial lifts. Millwright Mechanical Experience is a plus. Adapt to changing situations. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers Thorough attention to detail. Self starter/Results driven/Proactive Team Player Safety focused. Ability to work at heights and tight spaces. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Working Environment: The Field Service Installation-Fabricator will perform various duties in the CBT shop and a variety of customer sites. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally. Often exposure to different environments while visiting customer’s facilities which could include; contaminants, hazardous situations, bright or dim lighting conditions, noise and sound levels may sometimes be distracting or uncomfortable.  Works close to others.
