The Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Java Developer with expertise in SpringBoot and Hibernate to join our dynamic team supporting Capital Markets clients.This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance backendapplications that power FX trading and related financial systems. You will workclosely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain criticalcomponents of our FX platforms, ensuring robustness and efficiency in afast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java,Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
· Develop and thoroughly test secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot andtools such as Postman.
· Integrate and manage databases leveraging Spring Data JPA and HibernateORM, specifically for FX trading systems.
· Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and businessanalysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.
· Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning toensure system reliability and scalability.
· Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Javadevelopment and Capital Markets.
Experience & Skills Required
· Proven experience building robust, scalable server-side applications,RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java.
· Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and SpringData JPA.
· Hands-on experience with Hibernate ORM for database integration.
· Experience working with FX applications or Capital Markets systems ishighly preferred.
· Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
· Good understanding of software development lifecycle, version control,and agile methodologies.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in acollaborative team environment.
