Are you an experienced apartment maintenance technician with strong HVAC skills? Monarch Investment is looking for a skilled Area Apartment HVAC Technician to support our communities throughout the Southern Indiana area, including Clarksville / New Albany.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping apartment communities running smoothly, and putting their maintenance expertise to work across multiple properties.

Your Role as an Area Apartment HVAC Technician:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems throughout assigned apartment communities
• Troubleshoot air conditioning, heating, electrical, and forced-air systems
• Complete service requests and work orders efficiently
• Assist with apartment Make Ready/Turn processes
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and other building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, and water heaters as needed
• Perform interior and exterior painting, drywall, carpentry, and other general maintenance as needed
• Travel between Monarch communities throughout the Southern Indiana area to provide maintenance and HVAC support
• Participate in an on-call rotation (1 week every 5 weeks)
• Work closely with Property Managers and maintenance teams to keep communities operating safely and efficiently

What You Bring to the Team:

• 4+ years of apartment/multifamily maintenance experience
• Strong HVAC experience required
• Experience diagnosing and repairing AC, electrical, and forced-air systems
• Experience working in apartment communities preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service needs
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to travel between assigned properties
• EPA and HVAC certifications required

Hands-On Skills in:

• HVAC / Air Conditioning
• Electrical
• Plumbing, including sweating copper pipe
• Drywall and painting
• Carpentry
• Appliance repair
• Gas and electric water heaters
• General apartment maintenance

Certifications:

• HVAC Certification required
• EPA Certification required
• CPO Certification preferred
