Hemp/CBD Category Sales Representative

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for anexperienced Hemp/CBD Category Manager or Retail Sales Account Executive in theSt. Louis, Missouri, area to help drive sales for a fast-moving start-up in theCannabis industry.

You will use yourexisting CBD / hemp store book of business or your retail channel salesexperience, combined with trade / channel marketing experience, to grow thenumber of retailers carrying the product in your territory, while growing salesvolume at existing stores. You must have experience selling into one of thefollowing: cannabis dispensaries, food distributors, CBD / Hemp stores,  or Natural Food/Pet Stores.  If you have experience successfully sellingCBD based products into grocery, convenience, or drug channels; this experienceis preferred.  Your background inchannel/trade marketing in addition to your Cannabis sales experience will helpto set you up for further success. You're known for your exceptionalnegotiation skills and ability to close sales using your proven communicationskills, along with your ability to build lasting relationships with customers.You'll have the opportunity to utilize your expert level knowledge of thecompany's brand to elevate the brand's community profile. If you have provensuccess in driving growth in CBD companies, have an existing book of business/experience selling CBD products into a variety of channels, are great atestablishing credibility & rapport with clients, and building professionalrelationships, then this could be the right role for you.  This position will also require travel and youshould have regular access to a reliable vehicle / be close to a majorairport.  This position is aremote based position and could also be based in the areas around Cincinnati,Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; or Detroit, Michigan.
