Office/Administration - Estimator/Customer Service Rep

Tennessee Valley Converting is accepting resumes for the position of Estimator / Customer Service Representative.  The position is responsible for cost estimating new projects and updating existing customer accounts as needed.  

The Estimator / CSR  is a full time salaried exempt position. Regular schedule is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Salary is based on previous relevant experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Estimate new projects as submitted by customers, sales staff, design etc.  
• Check routing, with input from production staff, on new items to ensure they are correct.
• Quote tooling costs.
• Get pricing from vendors on any items that need to be outsourced.
• Quote new quantities for existing items.
• Keep the Sales team updated on when their quotes will be completed.
• Assist Sales team as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales.
• Generate periodical reports as required by the Controller and / or other management.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate must have:

• Prior cost estimating experience in a corrugated box converting environment. 
• Proven office experience, preferably, in a manufacturing setting.
• Data entry skills with speed and accuracy; 10-key by touch.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Detail oriented demonstrating a high degree accuracy and be well organized.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
