IQVIA is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Support Specialist to support the successful delivery of client-facing projects within a fast-paced digital and healthcare environment. The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, Account Specialists, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, facilitating communication among internal and external stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and supporting operational excellence through effective planning, tracking, and process improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Essential Functions
  • Support project managers and client service teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects.
  • Facilitate coordination between Account Managers, Account Specialists, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
  • Coordinate and lead internal project status meetings and client touchpoints, documenting key actions and follow-up items.
  • Translate client requirements into clear project briefs, work plans, and actionable deliverables for internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain project timelines, task assignments, resource plans, and project trackers.
  • Collaborate with technical, strategic, and operational stakeholders to identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, status reports, meeting notes, and client communications.
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and materials for client engagements and business reviews.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively communicate issues, delays, or resource constraints to project leadership.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and deliverables align with client expectations and business requirements.
  • Manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and enhance project management efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Perform additional project coordination and administrative activities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting projects, operations, client services, account management, or related business functions.
Preferred
  • Project management experience within a marketing agency, consulting, or professional services environment; experience supporting healthcare clients or healthcare marketing initiatives is a plus
  • Exposure to project management methodologies and project management tools.
  • Experience using project tracking and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, or similar solutions.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $48,600.00 - $121,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
