SUMMARY: The Sales Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key accounts to influence distribution of Phusion brands. They will also drive new distribution, create displays, and increase brand visibility with focused SKUs, pricing, and program POS in independent and chain outlets. They will manage key accounts through planning, execution and reviews of results against current goals. This role will require weekly travel within an assigned territory and additional travel 3-4 days a month for market-wide crew drives outside of your market or state. To be successful in this role, you must be organized, have strong interpersonal skills, be a problem solver, be comfortable with the use of technology, and be willing to travel.*


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage selling resources, including programming execution, sampling, and POS, to support accounts.
  • Ensure proper merchandising standards are executed in the market with in-store programming and external permanent POS.
  • Attend promotional events to generate new sales or leads.
  • Educate external partners on product updates, changes and launches.
  • Manage portfolio of 450 retail accounts by executing sales strategies focused on distribution, visibility, pricing, and promotional compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for store owners and managers, building long-term partnerships to expand brand presence and maximize sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Sales Managers and external distributor representatives to align sell-in initiatives with in-store execution and inventory availability.
  • Lead merchandising execution, including shelf resets, product consolidations, and planogram adherence.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers in chain stores to align on account objectives.
  • Execute front-of-store displays, promotional setups, and point-of-sale placements.
  • Leverage retailer schematics and performance insights to maintain shelf integrity and support data-driven decisions across accounts.
  • Maintain assigned budgets.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite.

*This is a hybrid position. Phusion Projects does not have an office in this location, but you will be required to travel in your assigned service area to visit accounts/clients weekly.
