Our Client, a Global Health Care company, seeks an IT Project Management resource to support a broad portfolio of technology initiatives across the organization. This role is part of a Project Management Office (PMO) managed-services model designed to provide on-demand project management capabilities based on evolving business priorities, project demand, and portfolio requirements.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects from initiation through completion. Project Managers within the PMO Flex Pool may be assigned to initiatives across multiple IT functions, business areas, geographies, and levels of complexity.

This is a remote, contract position with initial contract of 6 months, with the likelihood of extension. This role has an expectation of 10-15% travel, based on the Client's needs. Candidates must be willing to work EST/ CET working hours.

The Role:
  • Lead IT projects from initiation through successful delivery and closeout.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed project teams.
  • Manage project governance, status reporting, steering committee materials, and executive communications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and project dependencies.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, technology partners, and internal shared-service teams as required.
  • Apply appropriate Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, processes, and governance requirements.
  • Transition effectively between projects and support changing business priorities as part of the PMO Flex Pool.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and resource planning.​


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing IT projects in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technology projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a PMO, Global Business Services, shared services, or managed services environment.
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.
