TECHNICIAN

About the Role:

The Technician role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of motorbikes within a retail trade environment. This position involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and executing precise part replacements to maintain high standards of vehicle reliability. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in motorbike maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency with motorbike tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of motorbike mechanical systems and part replacement procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized motorbike or automotive technical program.
• Experience working in a retail trade environment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and electronic motorbike systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on motorbikes to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Execute motorbike part replacements and repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire replacements to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair status and recommendations to customers and management.
• Collaborate with the retail team to manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
