Receptionist - Laura Buick-GMC

Reports to: Receptionist Supervisor 

Schedule: Part-Time Position

M-S (7:30AM - 8PM) – Hours/days will vary within that time frame. 

Summary: The Receptionist receives calls at the dealership, determines the nature of their business and directs callers to their destination. Answers basic inquiries, routes incoming calls, takes messages, and provides basic information to all callers.

Essential Duties:

• Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit.
• Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting and introduces the customer to a salesperson.
• Answers incoming phone calls. Directs the caller to the appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.
• Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Obtains basic demographic information about each customer using a customer database system and/or log sheet.
• Assists with keeping the showroom and customer waiting area neat and orderly.
• Assists with brewing coffee.
• Remains fully compliant with Company HR trainings. 
• Maintain professional and courteous attitude, wardrobe, and grooming.
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required 
• Previous experience preferred 
• Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Must be focused, detail oriented, and very thorough
