Intern - Communication Department

Internship Details: 

Providessupport to various activities within the Communications Department, includingcreative, campaign, media, and administrative tasks. Develops social mediacontent, including visuals, reels, short videos, and long-form materials, usingCanva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator)

Learning Opportunities: 

• Gainhands-on experience in stakeholder relations and communications within aninternational humanitarian organization. 
  
• Learnto use event management processes and tools. 
  
• Observethe planning and strategizing of campaigns.  
  
• Understandthe principles of humanitarian work and networkwith internationally experienced humanitarians. 
  
• Learn conceptsof pre-bunking, digital verification, disinformation narrativeanalysis, and case resolution. 
  

Responsibilities:

• Provides support to variousCommunication department activities such as Creative, Campaign, Media, andAdministration activities.

Requirements

•         Completed an undergraduate degree in a related field. 
  
•         Familiarity with and passion for humanitarian work.  
  
•         Strong graphic design skills.
  
•         Adaptable, collaborative, strong organizational skills
