We are seeking a Patient Coordinator at our Pediatrics office to join our growing, group practice. The Patient Coordinator is an essential role on our administrative staff. They are responsible for ensuring patients are receiving an excellent experience from the initial phone call, to check-in and through check-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing telephone calls, scheduling patient appointments including gathering patient’s insurance information and updating current info
  • Ensuring the next day’s schedule is filled for the doctor and hygienist, utilizing various reports
  • Reinforces the financial policy of the office and ensures payments are current.
  • Checking in patients utilizing dental software and insuring proper paperwork given and filled out by patients
  • Enters transactions and posts payment at time of patient check-out
  • Maintaining electronic records for patients
  • Must have good attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be focused, personable, punctual with the ability to handle a busy dental office
  • Experience in dentistry or healthcare setting is a plus
