This role is ideal for a relational, energetic leader who is passionate about helping students meet and follow Jesus while equipping volunteers and building strong partnerships with families. Position Overview The High School Director is a key member of the Youth Ministries Team, responsible for creating engaging environments where students experience belonging, grow in their faith, and develop as disciples of Jesus Christ. This role focuses on leading high school ministry programs, building relationships, and equipping volunteers to effectively disciple students. Qualifications  Key Responsibilities Lead and execute weekly programs, events, and discipleship opportunities for high school students Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and volunteer leaders Recruit, train, and support volunteer teams Teach, disciple, and mentor students in their faith Partner with Family Ministries staff to support student development from youth into young adulthood Assist in outreach efforts and help students engage the discipleship pathway Maintain clear communication and accurate student records Participate in Youth Ministries, Family Ministries, and churchwide initiatives Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of experience in youth or family ministry Experience leading volunteers and discipling students Skills & Strengths Strong biblical knowledge and ability to communicate the Gospel clearly Relational, energetic, and effective with students and families Organized and able to lead programs and events with excellence Strong communicator with the ability to connect across generations Personal & Spiritual Characteristics A growing relationship with Jesus Christ Alignment with the mission and values of First Pres and ECO Emotionally healthy, trustworthy, and team-oriented Humble, adaptable, and committed to serving others Why First Pres?
