SAIC is seeking a talented and driven Systems Test Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in integrating new ground systems with legacy infrastructure including the testing of software, hardware, and complex systems to streamline the secure development and deployment of mission-critical solutions. Working within a rapid prototyping team, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, data engineers, DevSecOps engineers, and other systems engineers to ensure robust and high-performing solutions.

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven individual to support the planning, testing, maintenance, and operational efforts for the Battle Management Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (BMC3I) software. This includes facilitating a diverse range of application testing activities, assisting with mission planning, and acquiring in-depth knowledge of each application's purpose and testing requirements. Success in this role will require close coordination with mission application developers and stakeholders across the broader BMC3I ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Lead and actively participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mission-critical applications.
Integrate new ground systems into legacy SCN systems, covering roadmap development, system design, and on-site testing for seamless interoperability.
Oversee and contribute to functional, regression, exploratory, and Section 508 compliance testing.
Provide strategic guidance for integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in partnership with developers and clients.
Promote test automation and best practices to improve software quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
Build and maintain a deep understanding of mission applications and their testing requirements.
