Position Title: JH Terrain Park Crew 

Department: JH Park

Classification: Winter Seasonal, Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Duties

• Assist lead in completing daily duties as outlined in the JH Park Handbook. (Set- up, inspection, logs, and maintenance of terrain features)
• Circulate through all venues checking fences, signage, and terrain features.
• Be a team player. If you see something that looks like it needs to be done- Check in with the lead
• Promote safety and goodwill through ‘one on one’ communication with our guests.
• Acquire acute safety practices pertaining to the above mentioned activities and other related equipment.
• Operate snowmobiles as directed by the JHMR Snowmobile Handbook.
• Execute Skier Safety tasks as obligated by JHMR standards.

• Posses abilities to do most work unassisted in shop
• Handrail construction/ Repairs/ Painting (Exception: Welding) as directed by lead
• Perform other duties as assigned by the JH Park supervisor or lead

Are you the right fit? Below are some traits an exemplary candidate possesses:

• Knowledge of basic terrain feature maintenance skills
• Awareness of Ski Area operations
• Expert snowboarding/skiing ability required. (Workers with a lower level of skills will be encouraged to spend more time in the lower-level park until sufficient skills exist.) SmartStyle #2
• High school graduate or G.E.D.

• Previous experience in the ‘trades’ EX: construction, welding, heavy equipment
• Previous experience in terrain park usage/ etiquette

• General handrail repair experience
