Excitingand highly rewarding opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking to join the team in Minneapolis! This is a hybrid position with working three days in the office and two days remote.

Responsibilities:

Analyze subsurface conditions and supportdesign of tunnels, shafts, trenchless systems, and open-cut excavations
Plan/Participate in geotechnical investigations(select boring locations, report soil/rock conditions, interpret field data)
Develop clear engineering recommendations to moveprojects forward by using boring logs, lab data, and field observations
Prepare geotechnical deliverables (datareports, interpretive reports, and other technical documentation to support thedesign/construction
Perform site visits, construction observation,and inspections for underground structures, slopes, and related infrastructure
Contribute to all phases of a project includingdesign support and construction coordination (RFIs, submittals, fieldcommunication)
Collaborate with other team members

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering(Geotechnical emphasis preferred)
4+ years of progressive geotechnicalengineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license (or abilityto obtain)
Experience with underground design, trenchlessmethods, or tunneling projects
Knowledge of subsurface investigations, soilborings, and geotechnical report development
Experience with open-cut excavations, slopestability, and earthwork design
Experience supporting construction-phaseservices, field investigations, or construction observation
Familiar with trenchless construction methods (microtunneling,HDD, or auger boring) preferred
Experience working in a consulting engineeringenvironment preferred
Ability to manage multiple assignments/priorities in a fast-paced environment preferred
Desire to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
