The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering.
Key responsibilities include involvement in the design process, preparing plans and specifications, project permitting, and mentoring junior engineers.
Candidates must have a PE License, knowledge of MnDOT design standards, and proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads, with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
Salary is commensurate with experience, and applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Involvement in design process/projectadvancement (setting priorities/developing objectives)
Use technical expertise to aid multi-disciplineteam
Prepare highway/roadwayand sewer plans, specifications, and estimates
Responsible for project permitting
Prepare project reports
Mentor/train junior engineers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
5+years of practical design experience(transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design)
PE License
Knowledge of MnDOT design/standards
Good communication skills
Proficient in MicroStation/OpenRoadsrequired.
Working knowledge of modeling withOpenRoads preferred
Experience with AutoCAD Civil3Dsoftware preferred

Salary is commensurate withexperience.
