Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly skilled Senior Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installer to join our growing team of professionals. The installer will perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, and personnel analysis. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation. Â
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)Â Â
- Take ownership of onsite projects including safety, quality, and performance.
- Train, mentor, and lead team members and jobs.
- Install commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems. Â
- Install all types of electrical conduit. Â
- Complete paperwork, including but not limited to onsite documentation and maintenance of as built drawings. Â
- Responsible for ensuring all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.Â
- Demonstrate a high level of oral and written communication, coordinates with other departments, and general contractors with little supervision.
- Comply with standards and procedures of industry and Sciens safety programs/policies. Â
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU. Â
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in fire alarm, voice/data, and security installation
- Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
- Advanced ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and make recommendations based on field conditions.
- Advanced installation knowledge run wire, wire devices, fish walls and doors.
- Advanced knowledge of NFPA 70 & NFPA 72 installation requirements. Â Â
- You demonstrate a high level of oral and written communication; coordinates with other departments, and GCs with little supervision.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and able to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
- Ability to learn and safely use standard trade tools.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently with some supervision.Â

- Be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade, including frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, maximum occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; able to work from heights and climb ladders; standing and walking for most of the workday.Â
- Ability to travel occasionally overnight, as needed.Â
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.

Compensation: $32.00 to $48.00 per hour depending experience
