Banquet Staff

Responsible for serving food and beverages to special event’s guests ensuring products meet guest’s specifications. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for replenishing all food and beverage items. 
• Responsible for removal of all dinnerware and China from the function and transporting the items to the convention hallway. 
• Will assist in the cleanliness of the Convention Center. 
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-year food and beverage experience helpful but not necessary. 
• Must be able to properly carry a banquet tray. 
• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.  Must be committed to 100% customer service! 
• Must be physically able to lift up to 25lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation. 
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment. 
• Must be at least 18. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
