Description

Provides administrative support to the SVP of NCUS TEC in specific areas of faculty and staff evaluation, budget development and management, grant development, program compliance, student-related concerns, and strategic development. Some instruction may be required. Supports the division's daily operations. 


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support in areas such as faculty and staff evaluation, budget development and management, grant development, compliance of programs, and student-related concerns.
  • Student Services: Coordinating student retention efforts and enrollment management, developing community partners to ensure students are employed after training, and monitoring and measuring student success rates
  • Facility Management: Overseeing campus facilities, ensuring maintenance and safety standards are met, and managing space allocation
  • Event Coordination: Organizing and presenting events such as orientation sessions for new students and community outreach program
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with local and federal reporting agencies, handling crisis management, and ability to implement emergency preparedness and response plan. 
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans, analyzing data to improve efficiency and student services, and facilitating communication between departments
  • Staff Supervision: Providing guidance and support to staff, fostering a collaborative work environment, and conducting regular meetings with department heads to discuss ongoing projects and address operational issues.
  • Other duties assigned 


Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree with a major in education, educational leadership, or related field. 

 Preferred Experience: 

  • At least two (2) years of related experience with teaching/supervision 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that could include some evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel to the branch locations at least bi-weekly
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
