Home Savers Specialist

Description

The Home Savers Specialist assists with compliance of Dodd/Frank and other regulatory requirements. They provide a line of defense ensuring accurate documents are sent to the customer to ensure compliance with regulations and investor guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review all loan documents prior to documents being sent to the customer. 

• Additional review of signed documents prior to execution of modification terms. 

• Performs initial review of modification application documents. 

• Tracks modification stipulations and document requests from the customer. 

• Performs loan modification processing duties of a more complex nature. 

• Displays considerable independence with limited need for supervision. 

• May be expected to mentor lesser experienced processors. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience

• High school diploma, or equivalent

• NOTE: This position is considered to be a Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act. Registration required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Strong communication and follow up skills

• Ability to work independently

• Strong organizational skills
