The role you’ll contribute:
Â
Responsible for providing direct and indirect care in the office or clinic setting. This position meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care, addressing the communication needs of patients and families. Additionally, this role provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practitioner, or physician. In addition, this position maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office or clinic policies, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities for this role include communicating with physicians and team members about patients' clinical conditions, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. This role contributes to the overall patient care experience through diligent and accurate performance of assigned duties.

- Greets patients and expresses sensitivity to their needs and condition.
- Assesses and documents patient condition, including chief complaint, vital signs, weight, medications, and social history.
- Records services and diagnoses accurately for completion of encounter forms, requisitions, consent forms, and advance beneficiary notices.
- Assists providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments according to established protocols.
- Performs ancillary services such as venipunctures and x-rays independently per protocols.

- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
