This postion will be located at the Lake Erie Correctional InstitutionÂ
- Requires extensive knowledge of management principles/techniques and agency policies and procedures
- Works under the direct supervision of the designated ODRC Contract and functional supervision of the Office of Correctional Health Care
- Organizes, plans, develops and implements a comprehensive monitoring program of contract healthcare services within Lake Erie Correctional institution and Northeast Ohio Correctional Center
- Assure services delivered meet applicable ODRC policy, protocol, standards, directives and/or court orders
- Monitoring and evaluation of healthcare processes, continuous quality improvement/quality assurance activities, staffing expectations and fulfillment
- Responsible for critical review of major healthcare occurrences, credentials monitoring and clinical competence monitoring
- Evaluates the data generated and reports findings to institution staff
- Designated ODRC contract monitor, and Office of Correctional Healthcare administration Evaluates the contractor’s planned remediation / action plans for findings as indicated and provides feedback to all parties involved.
- Monitors healthcare services compliance with state and federal regulations, standards and court orders and reports finding
- Investigates and responds to inquiries about healthcare concerns from internal and external stakeholders as necessary and/or as directed during the course of contract monitoring.
5 yrs. trg. or 5 yrs. exp. in business administration, management or public administration.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management or public administration; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program for academic field of study commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on File; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
-Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 2, 63123.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
