Job Description:

Ā

Rogue is one of the fastest-growing American-made strength equipment manufacturers in the world — engineered and built entirely in Columbus, Ohio. We're not just another fitness equipment company. We obsess over quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, and we're looking for an engineer who wants to push the boundaries of modern manufacturing.
Ā

The Role

This is a high-impact, "tip of the spear" position. You won't be optimizing spreadsheets in a corner office — you'll be on the plant floor, in the thick of it, redesigning workflows, implementing new technologies, and dramatically improving how we build world-class training equipment. You'll help take our already strong manufacturing operation to the next level using data, lean principles, automation, and AI.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

What You'll Do

  • Lead major plant layout and process flow improvement projects

  • Design and implement lean manufacturing systems — value stream mapping, takt time, line balancing

  • Identify and deploy AI/ML tools for predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, quality control, and throughput optimization

  • Work hands-on with production teams to eliminate waste and reduce bottlenecks

  • Partner with engineering and automation teams on new equipment and process integration

  • Develop and track key manufacturing Metrics: Cycle time, labor efficiency, cost/unit etc

  • Drive a continuous improvement culture across the entire facility

What We're Looking For

  • B.S. or M.S. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field — Georgia Tech, Purdue, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia Tech strongly preferred

  • 3–8 years of experience in high-volume or high-mix manufacturing environments

  • Deep expertise in plant flow, layout design, and lean manufacturing

  • Demonstrated experience using AI/ML tools on the floor — predictive analytics, computer vision, optimization algorithms

  • Strong hands-on presence — you're comfortable and credible on the production floor

  • Genuinely obsessed with efficiency and continuous improvement

  • Bonus: experience in metal fabrication, assembly lines, or configurator-based production

What You Get

  • Competitive base salary + performance bonus

  • Full benefits package — medical, dental, vision, 401k

  • Direct impact on a growing, debt-free, American manufacturing company

  • Free Rogue gear and gym access

  • A culture that actually values engineers who ship real improvements, not just decks

If you're the kind of engineer who gets fired up about cutting waste by 30%, putting AI to work on the floor, and building the future of American manufacturing — we want to talk.
