Job Purpose

To coordinate and administer logistics functions within the finished goods department. The position will support internal and external customers in coordinating the outbound shipment process and on time delivery of or products (Paint & Coatings).

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for communication with 4PL providers
  • Creation of all required shipping documentation
  • Purchase and maintain stocking levels for all department supplies
  • Liaison with customer service, sales, customer and carriers on any issue relating to the transportation of our products
  • Manage document retention program for all critical hazardous material documentation per 49CFR regs
  • Management of return process through CLX inbound portal
  • Scheduling of carrier pickups (LTL, TL, Intermodal & Expedite)
  • Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management module in SAP
  • Inventory and Cycle counting responsibilities

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs.
  • Problem solving and analysis
