Job Details: Job Location: LifeCare Alliance - Harmon Avenue - Columbus , OH, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $17.00Hourly, Job Purpose:- The Van Driver at LIFECARE ALLIANCE is responsible for delivering and picking up meals, equipment, and other assigned items to various locations in Central Ohio using the program vehicle. This role includes the maintenance of the program cargo van, loading and unloading items, checking orders, counting meals and beverages, delivering meals, and written materials.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and pick up meals and other assigned items to designated locations in Central Ohio using the program vehicle.- Maintain the program cargo van to ensure it is in good working condition.- Load and unload items from the van efficiently and safely.- Check orders for accuracy and count meals and beverages before delivery.- Deliver meals and written materials to clients in a timely manner.- Navigate using maps to ensure efficient route planning and delivery.- Pass the Agency’s defensive driving and cargo van driving tests to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.- Provide excellent customer service, especially when interacting with older adults and handicapped individuals.Qualifications: Required Education:- High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Experience:- Must be able to read and write.- Must be able to navigate using a map.Preferred Experience:- Experience working with older adults.- Experience working with handicapped individuals.Required Skills and Abilities:- Must pass Agency’s defensive driving test.- Must pass Agency’s cargo van driving test.
