Drivers operate 26-foot liftgate box trucks and handle time-sensitive airfreight shipments for domestic and international freight forwarders.Routes typically require 8–10 hours, depending on freight volume, traffic, and operational needs.What We Offer $20.00–$23.00/hour, depending on experience Consistent Monday–Friday day schedule Local SoCal routes Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Company-leased trucks Paid training Stable company with more than 35 years in airfreight transportationWhat You'll Do Operate a 26' liftgate box truck on assigned local routes Pick up and deliver time-sensitive airfreight shipments Safely load, unload, and secure freight Use liftgate and material-handling equipment as required Complete vehicle inspections, manifests, and required driver documentation Provide professional service at customer locations Follow company safety, DOT, TSA, and OSHA requirementsQualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle operated Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience operating a 26' box truck Experience using a liftgate preferred Safe driving record Ability to safely load and unload freight Dependable attendance Ability to work the required Monday–Friday schedule Ability to meet company, insurance, TSA, background-screening, and applicable drug-testing requirementsAbout California Sierra ExpressCalifornia Sierra Express has served the airfreight logistics industry for more than 35 years.
