About the RoleÂ
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to help build ProPay2.0, our next-generation payment platform and financial infrastructure. In this role, you will design, develop, and support highly scalable, secure payment solutions that process ACH, virtual card, check, and other digital payment transactions while contributing to the architecture and evolution of our payment platform.Â
What You’ll DoÂ
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications for enterprise payment processingÂ
- Build scalable front-end applications using React and modern UI frameworks Â
- Develop secure, high-performance backend services and RESTful APIsÂ
- Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate coding, refactoring, and debugging Â
- Design and optimize relational database schemas and SQL queriesÂ
- Integrate with external payment providers, banking partners, and third-party APIsÂ
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance requirementsÂ
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviewsÂ
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices across the team Â
- Identify opportunities to improve system design, performance, and developer productivity Â
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causesÂ
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testsÂ
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams throughout the software development lifecycleÂ
What You’ll NeedÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experienceÂ
- 7+ years of full-stack development experienceÂ
- Strong experience with Java and Spring BootÂ
- Strong Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIsÂ
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL ServerÂ
- Experience with React and modern front-end frameworks Â
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelinesÂ
- Experience building cloud-based applications (AWS preferred)Â Â
- Experience working on payment processing, fintech, banking, healthcare payments, or financial services platformsÂ
- Experience with ACH, EFT, virtual cards, checks, or digital payment processingÂ
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Strong communication and collaboration skillsÂ
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologiesÂ
Nice to HaveÂ
- Familiarity with payment standards and financial transaction workflowsÂ
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and secure payment gatewaysÂ
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and modern authentication frameworksÂ
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.)Â Â
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deploymentsÂ
- Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQÂ
- Experience with performance tuning, observability, and production monitoringÂ

- Experience with payment reconciliation and settlement systemÂ
- Experience with PCI DSS or other financial compliance standardsÂ

Compensation for this position may vary based on individual skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and other benefits. Actual compensation will be determined considering the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
