Responsibilities
- Receive and process fluid samples for testing, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
- Conduct a range of tests on fluids, following standard operating procedures and maintaining strict quality control.
- Generate detailed reports on test results, providing clear and concise analysis and recommendations.
- Handle and store fluids safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Liaise with field operations and R&D teams to understand project requirements and provide timely updates.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and accuracy.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and protocols, contributing to R&D initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Fluid Technology team to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel, offering expertise and solutions as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of fluid testing procedures and techniques, with the ability to interpret results.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
