The Kitchen/Direct Care provides healthy meals for TGA students and live-instaff as well as maintains a safe, clean kitchen, in compliance with allapplicable regulations.
● High School diploma or GED
● Maintain a state approved Food Handler’s License Preferred Qualifications
● ministry experience
● The Kitchen/DC isresponsible to the Program Coordinator.
Responsibilities: will primarily serve as a minister tostudents in the program.
Responsibilities include but not belimited to:
●Lead prayer ● Engage in religious instruction
● Workwith other departments to comply with all Texas DFPS regulations or COGNIA
●Participate in campus events and chapels as required
●Prepare meals for the students
●Maintain a clean kitchen which is at or above all standards set by the state
● Ordersupplies for the kitchen and maintains an adequate inventory
●Create healthy menus appropriate for students, including those with dietaryissues
● Servethe food
DirectCare:
● Supervision (following staffcheck off list responsibilities), mentoring, and interacting with residentsduring various activities, which may include but is not limited to onlineschool, TC Curriculum, work periods, free time, and recreational activities
● Administer discipline as isnecessary according to THRIVE policies
● Minister to students asopportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions
● Become a mentor to students
● All other duties as assigned byDirector or Program Manager
