Life Enrichment Coordinator

Plan and lead activities for residents in assisted living and memory care in Moon Township. Full-time days, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with medical, dental, and vision benefits. $15 an hour. We respond within 48 hours.

Who you’ll work with
Our residents, about 130 in assisted living and about 90 in memory care, count on you for the best part of their day. Your job is to fill the calendar with things they actually look forward to.

What you’ll do

• Plan and lead daily group activities like exercise, games, music, crafts, and discussion groups
• Plan special events and celebrate holidays, birthdays, and milestones
• Adapt activities so residents of all abilities can join in, including residents living with memory loss
• Invite residents to take part, especially those who tend to stay in their rooms
• Keep families and staff updated on what’s coming up

What you’ll need

Required:

• Age 18 or older
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience planning or leading activities in any setting, such as camps, schools, churches, recreation programs, or events
• Experience working with older adults
• College coursework or training in recreation, therapeutic recreation, or a related field
