Position Summary:
Performs duties as outlined by the Terminal Manager related to the receipt and shipment of petroleum products via pipeline and truck. Has maintenance and accounting responsibilities in accordance with established company and governmental regulations. Assists in leading the operations, maintenance, safety and environmental matters, especially in the temporary absence of the Terminal Manager.
Major Accountabilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May act as supervisor for short periods of time.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in the training of Operators.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Answers and responds to after hour calls (24-hours per day / 7-days per week).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for filter changes and all valve alignments (manifolds and tanks) inside the terminal property to assure the proper handling,聽 聽 聽 聽storage, and integrity of products.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Uses the Terminal Automation System to prepare daily inventory reports, terminal balance report, and rack activity report.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Forwards daily inventory and accounting reports to the appropriate customers.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Makes sure that customers receive information needed regarding their throughput and inventory.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Samples and analyzes product as instructed by the Terminal Manager.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keeps loading rack equipment (mechanical and electrical) clean and in good working order at all times.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Interacts with drivers to make sure they follow all company and safety regulations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Trains new drivers and makes sure they are familiar with our automation, loading equipment, and emergency features.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducts safety watches with outside contractors as advised by the Terminal Manager.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures all environmental and safety equipment is working properly.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keeps overall appearance of terminal up and grass mowed and edged.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company聽 聽 聽 聽liability.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Improves operations efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained facilities.
Education Requirement:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School diploma or equivalent required.
聽
Experience Requirement:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 4+ years' experience in terminal operations required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Safety training and hazard training required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Spill response training for pipeline and rack area imperative.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fire training preferred.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Is a self-starter and willing to adapt to changing conditions.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently with limited supervision

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working in a crouching position several times per day for up to an hour at a time.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bending and twisting for up to 30 minutes at a time, including manually digging with shovels.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Sitting for up to two hours at a time.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to wear all appropriate personal protection equipment, such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, flame-resistant聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 clothing, hearing protection, respirator/breathing apparatus, and/or fall protection, as required by the job activities.
