The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. Position Summary:

Performs duties as outlined by the Terminal Manager related to the receipt and shipment of petroleum products via pipeline and truck. Has maintenance and accounting responsibilities in accordance with established company and governmental regulations. Assists in leading the operations, maintenance, safety and environmental matters, especially in the temporary absence of the Terminal Manager.

Major Accountabilities:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May act as supervisor for short periods of time.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in the training of Operators.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Answers and responds to after hour calls (24-hours per day / 7-days per week).

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for filter changes and all valve alignments (manifolds and tanks) inside the terminal property to assure the proper handling,聽 聽 聽 聽storage, and integrity of products.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Uses the Terminal Automation System to prepare daily inventory reports, terminal balance report, and rack activity report.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Forwards daily inventory and accounting reports to the appropriate customers.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Makes sure that customers receive information needed regarding their throughput and inventory.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Samples and analyzes product as instructed by the Terminal Manager.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keeps loading rack equipment (mechanical and electrical) clean and in good working order at all times.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Interacts with drivers to make sure they follow all company and safety regulations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Trains new drivers and makes sure they are familiar with our automation, loading equipment, and emergency features.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducts safety watches with outside contractors as advised by the Terminal Manager.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures all environmental and safety equipment is working properly.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keeps overall appearance of terminal up and grass mowed and edged.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company聽 聽 聽 聽liability.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Improves operations efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained facilities.



Education Requirement:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirement:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 4+ years' experience in terminal operations required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Safety training and hazard training required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Spill response training for pipeline and rack area imperative.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fire training preferred.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Is a self-starter and willing to adapt to changing conditions.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently with limited supervision

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. at least a few times a week, with the expectations that an employee can lift up to 100 lbs. with聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 assistance, when needed.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. for up to 50 feet on a weekly basis.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Walking 100 yards or more over 10 times throughout the day, with the expectations that employees could walk regularly up to 300 yards聽 聽 聽 at a time for a total of 2 miles or more during a shift.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Walking on steep inclines for up to 15 minutes at a time.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working in a crouching position several times per day for up to an hour at a time.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bending and stooping several times per day for up to 30 minutes at a time.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bending and twisting for up to 30 minutes at a time, including manually digging with shovels.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Standing in one place for up to an hour at a time.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Sitting for up to two hours at a time.

聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to wear all appropriate personal protection equipment, such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, flame-resistant聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 clothing, hearing protection, respirator/breathing apparatus, and/or fall protection, as required by the job activities.

聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to use or operate the hand tools, power tools, precision tools, measurement devices and other tools or equipment required by the聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽job activities.
