Do you have a passion for precision, teamwork, and making a difference? We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team! As a Surgical Technologist at Frederick Surgical Center, you'll be an integral part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless surgeries. If you're excited about the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives, keep reading!   Responsibilities Maintain a sterile field and uphold all principles of aseptic technique Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sutures, and equipment Prepare equipment, instruments, and operating rooms before procedures Assist with scrubbing, gowning, and gloving for the surgical team Prepare dressings and assist with postoperative bandage application Operate, adjust, and monitor surgical and sterile processing equipment Position and prepare patients for surgery while ensuring safety and comfort Participate in instrument, sponge, and sharps counts Clean and restock the operating room following procedures Support compliance with accreditation and departmental standards Maintain confidentiality of patient and center information Assist with supply and equipment maintenance Document accurately and in a timely manner Respond quickly to changing patient or surgical needs Perform additional duties as assigned   Qualifications * Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) * Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) * 1-2 years of experience in an operating room setting * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask * Excellent communication and teamwork skills   What We Offer * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative work environment with a supportive team * Recognition for your hard work and dedication * Flexible scheduling options **Ready to join the OR squad?
